rose rice porridge

Serves 2

Method:

  1. In a medium sized saucepan mix all ingredients over a medium heat and let it cook through for 7-10 minutes depending on preferred consistency.

  2. Blend some using a Hand Blender to make it porridge-like (I like to keep some whole too).

  3. Return to heat and let it heat up whilst preparing to add your toppings.

  4. Serve into bowls and top with your preferred toppings (I love mine with warmed up Mixed Berries, Almond Butter, Linseeds, Coconut Yoghurt, Chopped Dates and Honey).

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups Cooked Rice (I used Brown Rice)

  • 3 Cups Milk (I used Hazelnut)

  • 2 tsp Rose Water

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1 TBSP Raisins

  • 2 TBSP Chopped Nuts (Almonds, walnuts etc)

  • 1 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
