a day in the life

*Disclaimer: you are all entitled to live your lives the way you want to live it but this is just an example of one of my typical days during the pandemic.

7am - Wake Up (around 7ish, weekends 8ish as I like to have a little lie in and my 2 recovery days in terms of training)/Do my Tongue Tingler (an ancient Ayurvedic practice: guide by Jasmine Hemlsey)/Brush Teeth/Get into my workout gear and roll out my training mat.

7.30am - Read in bed (currently reading 21 Lessons for the 21st Century by Yuval Noah Harari, almost finished and will write a review over his 3 books on his collection in the latter)/Have my hot water (great for firing up the digestive system for the day ahead)/Go through socials/10 Minute Meditation.

8am - Working out (I have really been into using the FiiT app - I love their cardio classes specially Adrienne and Chessie King, but I tend to mix it up now with some IGTV's such as Zanna Van Dijk, Talilla Henchoz, Rhiannon Bailey, Psycle London.)

9am - Shower + get ready.

9.30am - Make and have breakfast (on a typical day I’d make Yoghurt and Granola with fruit and an Earl Grey).

10am - Check Blog + Emails/Do some economics or learn something (there’s been some great IGTV’s on workshops such as Ayurveda on Jasmine Hemsley/Chopra/Prana.)/Facetime Nan.

11am - Drive Practice (currently on my 4th drive practice and I am changing gears, going around curves and parking!)

12am - University Webinar (my university, University of Arts London have been doing a webinar series over different areas within the arts such as interior design, fashion and graphic design, which will benefit my long term experience within the creative industry).

1pm - Make Lunch.

2pm - Eat Lunch.

3pm - Wash dishes/Relax and watch a series or YouTube, been loving I May Destroy You on BBC iPlayer)

4pm - Learn some French - I use Seneca (I always loved the French Accent, I find it so romantic but I’ll probably need it for working and studying in fashion of course.)

5pm - FaceTime a friend/Go for a walk to the park.

6pm - Evening stretch or Yoga (tend to again try a FiiT rebalance class - Cat Meffan is my fave but there are many other good instructors like Chris Magee or Gede Foster)/Get into my pyjamas - probably the best part of the day.

7pm - Warm up some dinner (tend to have a light dinner such as soup or a toastie for digestion.)

8pm - Watch a YouTube vlog and sip my Chamomile Tea because I’m such an old lady haha! (been loving Brittany Bathgate’s vlogs so much as well as Lizzy Hadfield’s, Lily Pebbles, The Anna Edit, Melissa Tattam, Niomi Smart and Zanna Van Dijk’s, they give me so much inspiration over style, blogging, travel, fitness, cooking and overall just a nice life update during Covid.)

9 pm - Brush Teeth and wash my face/Get into bed/Listen to some sleep music (I like to use the Calm App)/Write in my diary - love this method to just write any struggles and goals I want to overcome so so empowering/Read more of my book till I nod off to sleep.

10 pm - Lights off. Bonne Nuit
